Introducing our Honourary Parade Marshal, Jerry Rintoul

When it came to selecting the Honourary Parade Marshal for the 20th anniversary of Santa Day, Jerry Rintoul was a perfect fit. As a deeply involved community member, he has played an active role in numerous Fenelon Falls organizations over the years and has a long history of volunteerism.

Some of the organizations he has been involved with include:

• Fenelon Falls Recreation Commission as a board member

• Fenelon Falls Minor Hockey as a coach

• Fenelon Falls Figure Skating Club as a board member and president

• Fenelon Falls Secondary School as a football coach for 23 years

• Kawartha Lakes Snowmobile Club as the director and president for over 40 years

• Ontario Federation of Snow Clubs as the district operations director for 15 years - he was also named volunteer of the year for Ontario in 2006

• International Snowmobile Congress where he was named volunteer of the year for Canada in 2006

• Fenelon Falls Santa Day where he assisted with floats and the fire department most years

• Fenelon Falls Fire Department where he volunteered for 48 years

Jerry is the Honourary Parade Marshal of the 20th annual Fenelon Falls Santa Day Parade.
